Founded in 2018 in Portland, Oregon, Focused Greens emerged from a simple yet powerful vision: to make nutrient-dense superfoods accessible to everyone while promoting sustainable agriculture practices. Our journey began when our founder, a nutritionist and urban farming enthusiast, recognized the incredible potential of microgreens to transform both personal health and environmental sustainability.
What started as a small indoor growing operation has evolved into a comprehensive microgreens company serving health-conscious consumers, restaurants, and wellness centers across the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in cultivating over 25 varieties of certified organic microgreens, from classic pea shoots and sunflower greens to exotic varieties like purple radish and amaranth.
Our state-of-the-art growing facility utilizes advanced hydroponic systems and LED technology to ensure optimal growing conditions year-round. Every batch is carefully monitored for quality, nutritional density, and flavor profile. We harvest our microgreens at peak nutrition, typically 7-14 days after germination, when vitamin and mineral content is at its highest concentration.
